Arabian Gulf (Dec. 30, 2003) -- Electronic Warfare Supervisor, Crytpologic Technician 3rd Class Daniel Martin, from Bartlett, Ill., monitors the shipÕs Advanced Combat Direction System console in the Combat Direction Center (CDC) aboard USS Enterprise (CVN 65).  The Advanced Combat Direction System provides extended range display, expanded track capacity, Joint Tactical Information Distribution System interoperability, modifiable doctrine, display of mapping information, automatic gridlock, and doctrine-controlled multi-source identification.  The Enterprise Carrier Strike Group (ESG) is currently deployed conducting missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the continued war on terrorism.
